Braces Bummer! Got a loose wire or a bobbly bracket? No need to fear, Mountain Orthodontics is here! True orthodontic emergencies are very rare, but when they do occur, we are available to you. Slight soreness is to be expected after braces are initially placed, and after adjustment visits. Please call our office if experience abnormally severe pain or when you have an unusual appliance problem that you can’t take care of yourself. We’ll be able to schedule an appointment to resolve the issue. You may even be able to temporarily solve many problems yourself until you are able to see us again. After alleviating your discomfort, it is important that you call our office as soon as possible to schedule a time to evaluate the issue. Allowing your braces or appliances to remain damaged for an extended period of time may result in longer than expected treatment times. Remember, well-cared for smiles are Smiles Made Stellar.
